It must have been the bibs!!!

Pope County, IL (Of course you know where that is?) native, Casey Dugan (Cat 3), took third place in a close sprint this past weekend in the Tour de Ste. Genevieve road race. As you can tell it must have been the super sleek Assos bibs he was wearing. I am afraid his Vitamin Cottage Team bibs would have held him back. Good job dude! See you sometime down in Kentuck!

He's the skinny guy riding the red Cervelo.

Cheers

I wish I'd been there to see that sprint. There had to be some real pain in it for those two.

From the lead up photos it looked like they might have exchanged leads a couple of times. Talk about gutting it out! It hurts just thinking about it.

Funny that they are BOTH on Cervelo's... what are the odds? Is Casey back in the mid-west yet?

Your right Dan! I didn't even notice they were both riding Cervelos.

Casey is back in Kentucky and should be racing up here quite a bit this next season.

He hasn't updated his blog in a while, so I don't know exactly what he has been up too.
